Prasat Dang Tong is located on the western slope of the Rahal within the boundary of the current village of Koh Ker. This rectangular temple was built of sandstone and laterite stone facing to the east. According to local people, an Ardhanarishvara statue (half body of Shiva and his wifeUma) is believed to have been housed in this temple. Its architectural style indicates that the temple was built prior to Jayavarman IV’s relocation of his capital city to this Koh Ker site.
